Aym Design’s restaurant interior design perfectly captures the essence exuding a vibrant, light, and joyful concept. Eye-catching murals and a visually striking bar complete the restaurant’s welcoming ambience, lively atmosphere, and comfortable social spaces for everyone to enjoy a delicious meal and converse with good friends.
The attention to detail in the food is replicated in the design of the restaurant. Upon entering the space, guests are immediately greeted by the 3-metre, graffiti mural of a Spanish singer. An iconic image for the Alegria brand (first seen in Alegria Manila), it immediately captures the guest’s attention and sets the tone for what is to come.
Aym Design’s goal for the interior design was to bring the spirit of alegria – the colours and the excitement, into the space whilst letting the food take centre stage. Aym Design used an honest but edgy material palette of woods and metals, mixing different textures, pops of colour, and greenery. Exposed brickwork pays homage to the heritage architecture of its shophouse location. Basquiat-inspired art pieces exude an intimate yet vibrant ambience.
As you move towards the back, the open kitchen provides guests with an insight into the traditional “behind-the-scenes” space where guests can enjoy watching the chefs cook over the large charcoal grill to observe how each dish is carefully and artistically platted.
